Stag Party 01:38
crying out for the blade you know you deserve that severs hope’s last tendon and sends you under the earth begging for it because you always need a line to cross, then erase and all the love that you’ve been given will never be enough fuck the world just another sip of poison another night alone another day spent waiting for a hidden axe to fall.
2.
the panic is useless stop and look around, all the shelves are empty and no one is in charge. what is life but the choice to stand aside and watch while the cage is torn apart and they remove the beating heart. while they lick their fingertips until the bones are all that they have left to gnaw. this is life this is it. feel the breath of angels as they spit in your mouth and feel the hand of god as he pushes the air from your lungs.
3.
blood. at the corners of my mouth I let it stay, let it run free. there will be a time to grieve, and may you find your peace. no rings exchanged between enemies but you are bound to me just the same. and I tear at the seams, bite hard enough to shatter teeth while you drill into me with eyes bright and glistening and bear down on me with the weight of memory until you take everything. so sharpen your knives and cut into me. make your mark and watch it bleed.
4.
a twitch in the jaw something comes undone, and the hands letting you go hope you're never coming back. they will say it was just bright colors flashing over the dark insides of a body full of disease. [and now the summer swarms fill the air with droning calls that lead them all to the rot] so what came first; the ghost or the grave? written on your skin, curses that follow your name. so what came first; the guilt or the shame? suffocate yourself and turn your eyes away without ever looking back. a twitch in the jaw something comes undone. the hands that let you go hold you by the throat, drag you back to the light and up into the day. leave you bloodless. leave you hopeless. in that homesick empty space where there is nothing to help you forget the pain.

Plague Rats 02:10
Fuck you forever. fuck you all forever. I remember there was a time that you all were invisible. just background hum spilled over shimmers in the air too weak to exist. but I can see you now and now I see you everywhere as spirits made flesh, that should have stayed dead. while you cling to one another and repeat the words of a hymn to misinformation then pass the cup of disease among all those who keep your faith.
6.
I threw a knife into heaven hoping it would turn the sky blood red looked up and said come for me come for me now and you never did. I danced through your storms I bathed in your tears until they washed away the thought. what kind of coward hides from the rage of a child? what kind of animal turns on its young? somewhere inside me I know there's a piece of you like a poison thorn pushing into my heart to let out your memory one drop at a time. somewhere inside me there’s a flaw born of your failure I see it in the shape of my scars in the mirror of my eye feel it in my teeth and on my tongue when i can’t bear to be loved, but i can't be alone. in the emptiness of night, for so long I thought I could hear you whispering - you will never wake again. but always when I opened my eyes you were gone. like you had never been real like you had never been at all.
